Cardinals remain #1 for 14th consecutive week in the USCHO.com poll

USCHO.com Division III Women's Top-10 Poll  

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Plattsburgh State women's ice hockey garnered all 15 first-place votes and 150 voting points to earn the No. 1 spot for the 14th consecutive USCHO.com Division III Women's Top-10 Poll, as announced on Monday.  

Plattsburgh State (21-1-0, 16-0-0 Northeast Women's Hockey League [NEWHL]) retained its No. 1 ranking after sweeping SUNY Cortland in a two-game NEWHL series this past weekend at the Ronald B. Stafford Ice Arena. Plattsburgh State won, 3-2, on Friday, Feb. 7, and, 5-0, on Saturday, Feb. 8.  

The Cardinals, who have held the No. 1 ranking in the poll since March 18, 2019, are on a 13-game winning streak. Over its winning streak, Plattsburgh State has outscored its opponents, 68-14, with three of the Cardinals' wins coming against teams that were ranked in the top five of the USCHO.com Division III Women's Top-10 Poll at the time of the game.

Plattsburgh State next faces No. 4 Elmira College for Senior Night at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, at the Ronald B. Stafford Ice Arena.
