Potsdam’s Wasielewski earns Player of the Week honors

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Potsdam junior forward Natalie Wasielewski (Carnegie, PA) has been named the Northeast Women's Hockey League's Player of the Week.

The honor is for games contested from Monday, Nov. 18, through Sunday, Nov. 24, and was announced by the NEWHL on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Wasielewski recorded six points on six assists in a 2-1 week for the Bears. She churned out a career-high four assists in an 8-3 win over Saint Michael's on Tuesday, Nov. 19, before adding two more during a 3-1 win over Morrisville on Friday, Nov. 22.

The veteran forward posted a +5 rating while playing in all three games during the week for the Bears.
